PHOTO GAME TAG

I was tagged by visiting Jan at Rose Haven for this photo game.

RULES: Here are the rules to this fun game:

1. Go to the the 4th folder where you keep your pictures on your computer.

2. Post the 4th picture in the folder.

3. Explain the photo.

4. Tag 4 fellow bloggers to join in the fun!

I am tagging the first four visitors to this blog. Have fun! :)

This is a picture of the first State Games that my son (left) was in. He hadn’t been doing martial arts for very long, yet won both a silver and a gold medal, including two matches where he bested those with higher ranks. Needless to say, I was proud of the boy. :) The young man standing next to him is a friend, and the man in the background is fellow martial artist and brother of El’s long-time friend.

  1. Hi there, thank you for stopping by my blog and for your kind comments. Please don't worry about the images you copied when printing the recipe. I just have that little paragraph about not copying because I found that when I posted my blog with my vintage images, a few days later I would see the same pictures on someone else's blog. I get most of my images from vintage magazines that I have purchased and collected. A good source for vintage books and magazines is ebay! God bless you!

  2. Hi Ruthann,

That's a really good idea on getting your images from old magazines. Thank you for the tip.

I also found a site last night that has free downloads.

    Thanks for stopping by. :)

  3. Hi Zebu~

I wanted to try and answer your question about password protected posts. I think it may be something unique to Gina's type of blog...I think she uses Wordpress or Typepad, but I can't remember right now.
Anyhow, I was looking around blogger trying to figure out how you'd set the blog or seperate posts like that, but I don't think there is something exactly like her's. However, you can go to settings and set your comments with comment moderation, so that you get them and have to okay them first before they will be seen on your actual blog. You can also set it so that only folks that have been invited to your blog can read your posts.

At this point those are the only alternatives I know of for blogger. Sure hope that helps:-)

    Lots of love,
    Sommer

  4. Sommer,

Thank you for your ideas. I didn't want to have to use Comment Moderation. I like for the poster to be able to see their comments right away. Also, if I'm away from the blog for a couple of days, posts would be delayed.

We'll see though; I may end up doing it anyway.

    Thanks again. :)
