TEA AND ROSES

This week, I received a beautiful card and tea bag from a beautiful person. Katherine at Country Romantic had a give-away, and too all those who didn’t win, she still gave a gift! After a very busy 12-hour shift, I came home and received this lovely card.



On the front of the card was a picture of the original give-away items. There was lovely rose-imprinted tissue paper, and a sweet and unique rose teabag. They are displayed on my jewelry box that was Gramma’s before she passed.

Needless to say, I had a relaxing cup of tea that evening!

A few more lovelies from my rose garden collection…

A thrift-store candle burner, a pretty little handkerchief, and an attractive bottle of perfume that my honey bought for me at a vintage second-hand store.



A cute sun hat, a dried rose arrangement—one of many that my husband has given to me—some adorable calendar pictures, a rose handkerchief that was Gramma’s, a charming little plate given to me by my dear mommy, and of course, a picture of my honey and me.





The brass rose below our picture was a window blind pull.



My “Cup of Friendship” tea tucked into my dried rose bundle…



A couple of rose colors are sprinkled onto my bed-side stand as well…A rose colored clock and my thrift-store rose mug. It holds the little things that I use in the evening, a pen and highlighter for reading and underlining, my essential oils, cherry chapstick for my ever-dry lips, and most important of all…earplugs!
