BEAUTIFUL FALL
A hot dish of golden potatoes, left-over franks, real butter, and home-grown chives served with crusty whole-wheat bread…
A peek-a-boo boy…
Transitioning from bike to car for the upcoming cold winds and icy roads…
The beginning of THE FAMILY SEASON…
The last weeks of cool clear water…Before it turns in to beautiful crystallized ice…
A beginning of the SEASON OF HOLIDAYS! The time for celebration, family, rejoicing, and a time to turn our hearts to He who created this beautiful Earth…He, to whom we own our thanks for the blessings that we enjoy…
A time of service…Extra special service to those we love and to those who just need a smile...Or a friend...Or a warm plate of cookies....
FALL…
A time of harvest…
And long walks amongst the trees and falling leaves…
FALL…
A time to bring the outside goodness into our homes…
To smell the scents of autumn sweetness...
Which will then carry us into the upcoming season of the deliciousness of apples and cinnamon…
Mulberries and roasted turkeys…
Have a blessed weekend…And search for the beauty around you.
Hello! I am so thankful to met you !! I am blessed with what you shared at my blog too. I look forward to revisiting you again. AND... I love looking at your Fall pictures. Where I live we sort of just have 2 seasons in the south:
ReplyDeleteHOT & then COLD- we tend to skip the in between and miss out on all the fall colors and the new spring time buds. So, I always enjoy seeing pictures that others post on their blogs. However, I'm not complaining, for I really do the land where the Lord has planted us!
Thank you for coming by my blog, I really hope to see you again :O) Soon, I hope to have time to make a new post at my blog- I've just been so busy with other things that are on my priority list- but I really enjoy blogging.
Nice to meet you & Blessings, Deanna
Oh I love fall....enjoyed all your pictures!!... I have been driving my husband to the airport the last 2 weeks because the weather has been to wet for the motorcycle here also..that dinner and potatoes looked yummy~ Cookies did you say Cookies!! ;D Heather
ReplyDeleteDeanna,
ReplyDeleteMany blessings back to you! I'm sorry that you don't get to enjoy the four seasons. I complain because our HOT is never long enough for a decent growing season. But, I do so love the beautiful colors. Thank you for stopping by for a visit, and I will be back to visit your home as well. :0)
Hello Heather,
Thank you for the nice words. :0) It is sad to have to put the bikes away (they get such good gas mileage), but now other good times will take their place.
And cookies? I had better get on making DB some to send out. His list is quite long, as to what he wants, so that's a good thing that he isn't picky.
Have a lovely day. :0)
