WEEKEND WANDERINGS
What a beautiful day for a parade! St. Patty’s Day dawned a couple of days early here in Hometown, USA, so we all gathered together and traveled downtown!
The little people didn’t quite know what to do at first...
But, then the candy started sailing through the air...And they caught on!
Of course, the parade HAD to start off with the Highland Bagpipers…
And our favorite piper of them all was the best one there! Unfortunately, they were moving too fast for this slow camera to get a good picture of him. If you REALLY look hard, he’s the second one from this end in the third row back.
The sun was pretty bright…
And…at times…the noises were pretty loud…
But, all in all, what a beautiful day for a parade!
The weather was too nice to stay inside after the parade and once the house cleaning was done. That meant that it was time to plant!
Oregano, Lemon Basil, Dill, Garlic Chives, Peas, Beans, Tomatoes…
...A little Catnip...
And some Lemon Balm for my kitchen.
Ahhh…The joys of Spring!
